GRP Gratings – sanded

Characteristics

In the case of sanded gratings, the surface is subsequently coated with corundum sand (GRP-BK grating type) or quartz sand (GRP-BQ grating type). The sanding is applied with a resin after the grating has been manufactured.

Gratings type BK – with corundum sanding, are particularly suitable for wet areas or for areas where lubricants and oils are used. This grating type achieves serration class R13

The quartz-sanded Gratings are often used in barefoot areas such as swimming pools. This type of grating also achieves serration class R13.

Durability: Good corrosion and weather resistance

Gratings can be loaded in the supports and crossbar direction

Electrically insulating and low thermal diffusivity

High standing and walking comfort

High slip resistance

Relatively low tare weight = lower transportation costs
