GRP Gratings – polished

Characteristics

For GRP gratings with a polished surface, the concave surface is sanded down after the production process. The bars are then sealed with a varnish to protect the glass fibers.

Polished Gratings are used where there is a risk of injury due to concave surfaces, for example as fence elements or protection against reaching through. These types of grating achieve serration class R11.

Durability: Good corrosion and weather resistance

Gratings can be loaded in the supports and crossbar direction

Electrically insulating and low thermal diffusivity

High standing and walking comfort

High slip resistance

Relatively low tare weight = lower transportation costs
